Travel Friendly Beauty Picks

With us being in the middle of holiday season, I thought what better way to end the week than with some of my favourite holiday favourites?! I've picked a handful of the best beauty products I've tried and I'm sharing them all in today's post - they're all light and travel friendly, or they're in cute little mini sizes (I mean, nothing makes me happier), so they're perfect for the summer season.

First up is the Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask. This is one of the best masks that I've ever come across for dry skin and I love how easy it is to use. You put a thin layer all over your face and neck (it dries clear) and keep it on overnight. When washed off in the morning, your skin will literally feel like it's had a huge drink of water and there's no sticky residue! I love taking the mini size on any long haul flights because I like to take my makeup off and rest - this mask is perfect to combat the dry atmosphere inside a plane. A total travel essential.

For body care, The Body Shop Body Butters are my go to option. I'm obsessed with these, particularly in the Virgin Mojito scent. They have so many to choose from and each one is available in a 50ml travel size option as well. They're super affordable, and you can often pick them up for even less over Christmas.

I've talked about the NYX Prismatic Eyeshadows to death on my blog but they really are fantastic. They come in so many shimmery colours and are incredibly buttery with seriously intense pigmentation. The shade Golden Peach is gorgeous for the summertime and gives a really pretty wash of rose glow on the eyelids. They come in single pans which are super lightweight and easy to travel with.

I always keep a travel friendly mascara on hand for makeup on the go - I've been loving the Benefit Roller Lash recently. It's perfect for a really defined lash look with a bright bold lip - quick and easy to pop on in the morning for a pulled together look that takes literally five minutes! Benefit are really great at coming out with mini versions of their mascaras in little kits or even as separate products which is so useful for when you're prepping for a getaway.

For lips, if I'm not opting for a bolder colour, the Fresh Sugar Lip Balm in Rose is the prettiest summer option for plump hydrated lips whilst travelling. You can get them in adorable mini travel sizes in the isle of financial doom when queuing up for the checkouts at Sephora! They're definitely some of the best lip balms I've ever used, and although they're pricey, they are definitely worth it. The pigmentation is generous too but you can tone it down by applying the product with your finger instead.

I also love the Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray to keep my makeup in place despite the heat. If there is one setting spray that can take it - it's this one! I keep a mini in my bag and top it up so that I always have a travel friendly bottle with me. The one photographed is a baby one I got as a deluxe sample, but there is a slightly bigger one which is still slim enough for on the go that I've linked above.
