My A/W16 Style Wishlist

Winter style is my favourite. All the cosy jumpers and sparkly heels get me all excited to go shopping! I thought that this year, I'd put together a little wishlist with a handful of things that I've been eyeing up in the fashion department as a bit of inspiration. It includes everything from day wear to evening wear, accessories and shoes to nightwear. There's something for (nearly) every category!

First up, let's take a moment to appreciate these new floral embroidered boots I purchased from Miss Selfridge in the Black Friday sales... I was thrilled to get them at the price I did, aren't they just so luxe? I'm sorry that I can't find a link to them anywhere but Zalando where it's being sold for even more than the RRP, but they've sold out everywhere! Speaking of embroidery, this top, also from Miss Selfridge is another beautiful pick that I've been eyeing up lately.

Dusty pink has been huge on the fashion scene lately and I love this crushed velvet dressing gown from ASOS. I know it's on my wishlist but I actually did end up picking this up in the Black Friday offer too, so I'm one lucky duck. Along the same vein, this cosy knit and this elegant jumpsuit are great ways to incorporate the soft pink theme into your winter wardrobe - not to mention these adorable floral pyjamas that keep selling out, so grab them whilst you can!

In terms of cosy wear, this grey sweatshirt from Whistles is minimalist and stylish and great to pair with leggings on a lounge at home day. Or for staying warm outdoors, I've already purchased this beautiful black coat with a detachable faux fur collar for the frostier days. It's smart and elegant and incredible quality for the price - same goes for these black velvety boots, I mean, look at the heel on those!

Ruffles and embellishments are also really big for winter so I've been scouring sites for some affordable pieces that are really great quality and look incredibly special - particularly for the party season! I found this cute grey jumper which would be great for a casual brunch, and this stunning 1920s-eque embellished tassel top which is perfect for an evening out. This lace number is also a beautiful if you love your high necklines, and paired with some black jeans and these pewter sandals, it's the perfect smart-casual party look.

For accessories, I chose this hard case clutch from ASOS as the perfect metallic party bag. It's big enough to fit all your party essentials in but not too cumbersome - not to mention that it's also rose gold. I also recently purchased this organic shape ring from Accessorize and it look incredibly similar to a much pricier one that I've been lusting over for years. This will do until I can afford the real deal! I also love these adorable glitzy hair pins from Anthropologie and this trio of sparkly broaches from Miss Selfridge... the sparklier, the better.
