Gift Guide: Stocking Fillers.

For the last of my gift guides this year, I wanted to collate some  gorgeous stocking filler ideas with some favourite pocket sized treats that I've picked up over the last few months. There's a mix of beauty, lifestyle and jewellery so there should be lots of inspiration to draw from!

Starting off with some drugstore beauty, the Zoella Gelat-eau Body Mist was one of the standout products from Zoe's summer launch this year. It's a really affordable body mist that smells very fresh, making it the perfect little fragrance to drop into a stocking. The packaging is gorgeous too which is always a bonus! Another great affordable skincare product is the Mario Badescu Rose Facial Spray. It's such a great pick-me-up in the mornings and evenings, and it adds that little bit of 'extra' into anyone's skincare regime. Definitely a princess product, but if it's in your stocking, totally justified. However, something more integral to my skincare routine is the Pixi Glow Tonic* which I use every single day. It's great for exfoliating and brightening the skin as a toner and it's available in the most adorable mini size which is perfect for a stocking!

I mentioned that there would be plenty of Pixi in my gift guides this year and I wasn't joking - the Pixi Lip Polish* would make another gorgeous idea for a stocking-sized gift. This is perfect as a night time nourishing lip oil with a little exfoliating pad that ensures lips are soft and smooth in the morning. It's also a great pre-lipstick prep product for a really voluminous pout.

Pretty hand creams make a gift feel really luxe, even if just to fill a stocking. I'm a huge fan of the Crabtree & Evelyn Hand Therapy Hydrating Cream* which smells incredible and so unique. They have lots of different fragrances to choose from and each cream has different skin benefits too.

Onto makeup picks... the Benefit Galifornia Blush is a recent purchase of mine - I just couldn't resist the colourful packaging! And no regrets, the blush is totally gorgeous and wearable by so many skin tones. It's a beautiful peachy coral with a hint of shimmer, and as I mentioned a few moments ago, the packaging is beaut. Speaking of stunning packaging, you can't go wrong with a bit of Tilbs as a stocking filler - and the Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips Lipstick in Electric Poppy is my favourite festive shade of the year. It's a bright pink-red that looks so striking when used as a pop of colour with simpler makeup.

I couldn't have a stocking gift guide without a couple of highlight options so here are my two picks for this year: the Soap & Glory Glow All Out Highlighter is a firm favourite of mine - in fact, I recently purchased my second pan. It's super glowy, with pink undertones and it's very affordable too. Even more affordable are the Makeup Revolution Liquid Glow Drops. These types of liquid highlighters have been huge this year and they've filtered into the drugstore with some gorgeous shades to chose from. The bottles look really special too, so they'll definitely be appreciated by someone who loves a good glow!

False lashes are a really handy gift idea for stockings as they come in so useful over the festive parties and New Year celebrations. My all time favourite lashes are the Fleur De Force Petit Fleur Lashes which I actually wore on my wedding. I never like anything too dramatic and these are the perfect balance for me - a little bit of extra lash without it being too obvious.

A few non-beauty ideas include some of the monogrammed goodness in Matalan at the moment - this purse is so adorable and extremely festive, not to mention super affordable as a stocking filler. I've featured my Anthropologie agate coasters a lot over the past few months so I thought I should definitely mention them as a gift idea this year. They are each incredibly unique and super special so I highly recommend them for someone who loves hot drinks! Pretty costume jewellery is a lovely way to fill up a stocking as well, and some of my favourite places to find them are Accessorize and Urban Outfitters. If you're looking for a more special piece to gift, Annie Haak offers so many gorgeous bracelets* that are packaged beautifully and would make the perfect gift.

A cute little book is a great stocking stuffer, and my favourite is definitely the Little Black Book by Otegha Uwagba. It's the perfect little toolkit for any girlboss and would make a wonderfully motivational read with the new year just around the corner.

Gift Guide: Home & Lifestyle.

Oooh, probably my favourite gift guide of all... especially for all the home & lifestyle lovers!

Let's get right to it:
Anthropologie is usually my first stop for beautiful home and lifestyle gifts and this year is no different! I'm in love with this agate cheese board which would be such a special gift for a hostess. It's available in rose quartz, amethyst purple and dark green, each with a gorgeous gilded gold trim - it's a splurge but one that will definitely be loved by anyone who loves pretty things! However, if the price point is a little high, Anthropologie also have some stunning bottle openers which are perfect for the festive season as well.

There are lots of wall calendars around in preparation for the new year and one of my favourites is this one from Rifle Paper Co. It would make such a wonderful gift for stationery lovers who like to keep everything organised! The quotes and prints on this particular design are so vibrant and gorgeous - I've already put mine up in the kitchen ready for the new year. Rifle Paper Co. also make the most gorgeous art prints which make a great gift for someone who loves to decorate - I am totally smitten with this blush pink print which I picked up for my gallery wall.

A pair of salt & pepper mills would make cute gift, especially if they're in a unique style or colour. I recently purchased these traditional style mills in vintage green and they make a lovely talking point when hosting. Accompanying the mills with some pretty salt would make the gift extra special, and it doesn't get prettier than a jar of pink salt in a fancy bottle!

Beautiful books also make great presents when you don't know someone that well. I love to read coffee table books and receiving them is always a real treat. Some of my absolute favourites are Eat Beautiful by Wendy Rowe and How To Be Parisian Wherever You Are. West Elm have some marble bookends which would also make a gorgeous gift - I bought this one last week and I love using it to prop up my cooking books in the kitchen.

Soft furnishings are a really gorgeous gift for home lovers, and unwrapping a beautiful geometric print throw would be a wonderful surprise. I know Mongolian fur cushions have been all the rage recently and I've chosen several to fill up spaces on my sofa and bedspread! They would definitely make such a statement gift for someone who loves to cosy up on the sofa with a good book or to watch TV.

A little tip: if you're on a budget and you still want to give something super special, a cute cacti or house plant would be perfect. IKEA have some gorgeous brass plant pots for a little over £1 which instantly make any little plant look a lot more luxe!

Gift Guide: For Her.

Although I wrote up a whole separate beauty gift guide, I decided to put aside a few beauty related items for this guide too. These beauty favourites are more for the everyday girl, and they're products that would suit anyone - no matter their age, style or skin type. I've also included some home, lifestyle and fashion pieces too, so this is definitely more of a mixed guide with gifts that would be loved by any girl.

Starting off with skincare, the Glossier Supers Set is one of my ultimate skincare finds of the year. The kit includes three full size serums, each tailored to different skin related issues that we all suffer from time to time. Super Glow is the perfect morning skin booster, Super Pure is great for any breakouts or redness and Super Bounce is a surge of moisture for days when things are looking a bit lack lustre. I wrote a whole post dedicated to Glossier a couple of weeks ago which I'll link here for a more in-depth review.

The Pixi Its Eye Time Eyeshadow Palette* is one of the most versatile palettes I've seen this year! It has soft, buttery shades that work really well for a glowing eye look that accentuates features in such a stunning way. For something a little more luxe, and still extremely festive, the Charlotte Tilbury The Vintage Vamp Palette is the perfect luxury shadow quad for all the parties this season. I love the pigmentation of these shadows and the foiled formula is so dreamy! This is the third quad from this line that I own now and I love it to pieces.

Pixi has such a great festive selection this year so I'm featuring another product from their line - the Pixi + Maryam Maquillage Strobe & Sculpt Palette* is a wonderful gift for anyone who is beginning to venture into the world of contour and highlight as it's such an easy and versatile palette to use.

Onto more lifestyle present ideas - marble is always such a chic print and makes a gift feel super luxe. I found this Marble & Copper Jewellery Stand in Asda and I'm totally smitten, it's tall and stylish and very on trend - plus, it works as the perfect gift for the girl who has it all.

Anthro is always a great stop for gifting because everything is extremely special and the store seems to have something for everyone. Their Monogram Mugs are always extremely popular and make a very personalised touch to a regular mug. They also have a gorgeous selection of hair accessories such as this Hair Barrette which looks stunning and would make the perfect addition to any New Years outfit.

Pampering treats are definitely very well received by many and a selection of bathtime goodies would be perfect to put together for a spa night post-Christmas season. I've been enjoying the Bath & Body Works Candle in Almond for the past few days and it would make a great affordable present for someone who loves home fragrance. A more luxury option is the Jo Malone Blackberry & Bay Bath Oil which I've also been using for relaxing winter baths. The scent is perfect for this season and it comes packaged so beautifully! On the bathtime theme, a more unorthodox gift is something like a Bamboo Bath Tray - it makes the perfect addition to the bathroom with a spa-like feel, especially when you pair it with some bath oils and salts.

Coffee table books are really lovely gifts and I often gift these to people who love reading. A recent favourite of mine is Cupcakes & Cashmere at Home, which offers some lovely interior styling advice for the girl who loves to decorate! If you're still stuck for inspiration, here are some more ideas:

Gift Guide: For Him.

It's time for another gift guide, and today I thought we'd talk about the men in our lives, from dads to brothers and your other half - hopefully, this gift guide should have you covered! I wanted to cover as many personalities as possible - from fitness lover to avid gamer, there should be something for everyone in this post.

For the chefs and men who love to cook, I've picked out Super Food Family Classics from my cooking books - it was released this year and I believe it's Jamie Oliver's latest recipes compiled into one big fabulous book. It's perfect for dad's with culinary talent and it is filled with so many wonderfully delicious meals inside.

For a sleek style staple, a Ted Baker Wallet is something that would definitely be well loved. I bought one for my husband a while back and he never leaves the house without it - it's compact, smart and stylish, as well as amazing quality that will last for years to come. A sleek, black leather belt is another wardrobe essential that will always remain a classic. Paired with the wallet, both would make the perfect 'classic gentleman' gift. The Braun Series 3 3020 Electric Razor is definitely a more affordable gentleman's gift. It's perfect for those who love to stay well groomed without anything too fancy. It's quick and easy to use, and it gives a really close, clean shave.

I always find this time of year is perfect for enjoying time together over a board game, so a new one to play might make the perfect gift. I've recently learnt how to play Power Grid and I love it! The box itself is really retro and the game is based entirely on strategy so it's good for those who enjoy that.

For gamers, the MSI Gaming Headset is a really useful gift for great sound quality whilst gaming. It has a built in microphone, it's noise cancelling and enhances sound effects for any games, music or movies (plus, it looks the part too). If you're on more of a budget, the Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse also makes a cute little tech gift or stocking filler.

If you know a man into fitness, the Withings Activite Pop Watch is a great, more affordable fitness watch to invest in. It comes beautifully packaged and appears as a regular watch would but it also tracks activity level as well as the time. The Bluetooth feature automatically syncs data to your phone so it makes for the perfect fitness companion.

If you're looking to spend a little more and want to get him something really special, the Google Pixel phone is extremely popular right now. It's extremely sleek, fast, has an amazing camera and a crisp display - and I know it would be loved by any Android appreciator. I have an Apple iPhone myself, but after having watched my husband use his Pixel for some time now, I can certainly see the appeal.

For super stylish men, a classic Burberry cashmere scarf would keep them warm this season as well as being such a special addition to their wardrobe. The brand also offers a service where you can get initials monogrammed onto the scarf for free, so it makes for the perfect personalised gift as well. Along the lines of getting something personalised (and definitely more budget friendly), a gorgeous monogrammed leather notebook would be a lovely gift or stocking filler as well. There are lots of different sizes, leather types and embossing styles to choose from - and a gift like this would show that you put a lot of thought into it!

Gift Guide: Beauty.

It's that time of year again! I wanted to kick start all of the festive content over the next month with something really exciting, so the gift guides are coming out early this year! As this is primarily a beauty blog (and I've been trying out lots of new beauty bits lately), I thought I'd start with my beauty gift guide.

Starting with skincare, I thought I'd do a little bit of a brand focus on Pixi. It's definitely one of my favourite brands, especially when it comes to choosing products for my skincare routine, and I know lots of their cult favourites would make wonderful gifts for beauty addicts. A couple of my absolute favourites are the Double Cleanse* and Peel & Polish*. The cleanser is a hefty jar which makes it a substantial gift, and it comes with two products inside - a cleansing balm and a cream cleanser. Both formulas are extremely nourishing and give the face a really deep clean after a long day... a total skincare must-have for every makeup wearer. I've mentioned the Pixi Peel & Polish* in my wedding skincare prep post, and I stand by the product throughout the winter months as well. It does exactly what it claims and is radiant skin in a tube - perfect to gift those who love to boost their glow.

Glossier is another brand with lots of skincare gems to choose from, especially if the person you're buying for is into pretty packaging too! I'm particularly smitten with the Glossier Mask Duo which contains two perfect products for any skincare junkie. It comes with the Mega Greens Galaxy Pack for a quick skin detox and the Moisturizing Moon Mask to soothe and hydrate afterwards.

If you're looking to spend a little more, a skincare tool that I've mentioned quite a bit this year is the Magnitone Barefaced Facial Cleansing Brush*. It's a really good investment and would make a really thoughtful gift - and it even comes in limited edition rose gold for the festive season!

I thought I'd touch a little on body and hair care as well - the Bardou hair care products are a favourite of mine, and I reviewed a couple of products earlier this month. For the gift of swishy hair, I recommend the Finishing Mist Hairspray*. My new bodycare brand favourite is definitely Herbivore Skincare and I'll be writing a post up on them soon. I've featured the Coco Rose Body Polish on my Instagram a few times but I thought I should mention it here too. It's such a luxurious bath time treat.

Moving onto makeup, I've been obsessed with Hourglass powders for years now and my most recent purchase from the brand is the new Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Volume III. It contains six stunning powders, varying from setting powders to blushers and bronzers, and it's the perfect travel companion. I've used mine non-stop, so I know it would make an absolutely perfect gift for any beauty lover who loves a little luxury in their life.

For those who love their eyeshadow, one of my favourite palette discoveries this year has to be the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette. It was released last year but the hype is still there, and for good reason - the shadows are extremely blendable and soft. The colours work together really well and the palette as a whole can create a whole variety of different looks, particularly for the festive period.

I thought I'd include a couple of gift ideas for sculpting the face as well. A gem for the most beautiful bronze glow is the Charlotte Tilbury Overnight Bronze & Glow Mask, which would make a wonderful gift for all the parties this season. I reviewed Rihanna's beauty line earlier this year after its launch in September. I've been using the Fenty Beauty Match Stix Trio non-stop for a really easy but gorgeous contour, so I know it would make the perfect present for those who want a fool-proof product for chiseled cheekbones. These are available in shades for everyone and you can mix and match according to the person you are gifting them to.

Speaking of personalised gifts, monogram products are always a lovely little touch for someone you don't necessarily know that well. Matalan have a lovely selection of affordable monogrammed gift ideas including this velvet makeup bag. It's a great size to throw into a bag or travel case with some makeup favourites. I also love gifting coffee table books, and for beauty lovers, Lauren Conrad's Beauty book is perfect. It's filled with stunning photographs, tips and tricks - such a gorgeous gift.

If you're brave enough to gift fragrance, Jo Malone is my go-to recommendation. I love nearly all of their scents and I feel like a lot of them are well loved by everyone. One of my favourite discoveries this year is the Peony & Blush Suede scent which I've added to my collection and nearly used up entirely!
