A Mini Summer Homeware Haul

Last month I wrote a post sharing my Summer Homeware Wishlist with ways I wanted to switch up my space for the summer. Shortly after, I was contacted by Ocean Loans asking if I wanted to team up and take part in their Homeware Haul Project – and of course, I said yes! The project is designed to celebrate our homes and give them a mini makeover for the summertime. I was asked to pick out some homeware bits that I loved and felt would update my living space for this season – so in today’s post I thought I’d share some of the things I picked up as part of this project. Of course, there’s a real theme with the pieces I picked out – namely, a copper & marble sort-of-thang (how very blogger of me). But I hope you enjoy!

I did a little spot of shopping on Typo and a few things in their 30% off sale which I was absolutely thrilled about! It was my first time shopping on the site – it’s a very easy website to use and the company offers super fast delivery (which was free as my order was over £25). However, a few of the things I purchased won’t be featured in this haul because the quality was quite poor or they arrived broken. Saying that, I did pick up three things which I was happy with – one was as an adorable little rose gold sharpener in the shape of a gem. I also purchased three little pastel dishes – I thought they would look perfect in photographs and flatlays for the summer. Lastly, a stunning marble print which is one of my favourite pieces from this haul – I mean, isn’t it gorgeous?!  I will definitely be purchasing some more of those. Overall, I found my experience with Typo to be a bit hit and miss – it’s worth taking a look at their site though as they have a fair returns policy and great customer service.

You might be familiar with my obsession with all things rose gold and copper, so this mule mug is no surprise. I had seen on several blogs lately and immediately decided that I needed it too, and I’m currently using it to house my most used makeup brushes. My final find was this stunning desk fan from Tesco. I was in dire need of a new fan for the warmer months but I didn’t want the white plasticky sort of fan that I used to have before – they always seem to break on me. So when I saw these stylish little number online, I snapped it up immediately. It was only £20 and they have it in gold and silver as well!

I was really confused on how to photograph the fan all prettily so it’s literally just a picture of the fan, but trust me – it is stunning in real life. I’m so happy with the bits I’ve found and I hope you love them as much as I do. I’d love to see how you switch up your living space for the summer and some of the pieces that you choose! What are your favourite pieces from this haul?

*Thank you to Ocean Loans for offering me the opportunity to take part in such a wonderful project.
