Fabulous & Fuzz Free with Wilkinson Sword

Wilkinson Sword Hydro Silk Bikini 2 in 1 Razor and Trimmer

A few weeks ago, I was contacted by Wilkinson Sword to try out their new Hydro Silk Bikini 2 in 1 Razor and Trimmer* and see how I liked it. When it arrived in the mail, I was surprised, as it was not like any other razor I had ever seen before. It’s bulkier than the traditional razors that I’m used to using, but it works as a dual ended shaving tool with a five blade razor on one side and a waterproof bikini trimmer on the other.

The razor end is what really makes this product a good one. It has a water activated moisturising serum which is infused with marine extracts and shea butter. This means  silky smooth legs without the risk of razor burns or dryness from shaving. There are skin guards which surround the blades to help prevent the skin from getting caught, so the razor is incredibly user friendly and perfect for when you’re in a hurry too, as there is literally no way you can mess up!

What really got me with this razor was how close the shave was – my legs were smooth for longer and I found that my legs didn’t feel as dry after shaving. Instead of reaching for my usual thicker moisturisers, I opted for the Hawaiian Tropic Continuous Spray Protective Dry Oil* which was incredibly easy to spray on a rub in without creating a sticky mess. It smells like a summer holiday as well – scented like coconut and mango, so it’s perfect to use this time of year.

On the other hand, the trimmer was a bit of a disappointment. I don’t find it to be that effective and it makes the razor unnecessarily bulky but I guess it’s okay just in case you might need it. The pack comes with a battery so you’re good to go once purchased so that’s a positive. The razor is a really good one though so I wouldn’t rule out repurchasing this just because the trimmer didn’t wow me.

The razor retails at £14.99 but it’s currently on sale for £7.49 at Boots so pick it up whilst you can!
