October Loves

Wow, October has flown by and it certainly has been an incredibly eventful month. I think this blog is well overdue for a life update soon so I’ll get to writing one for some point in November – but before we go there, it’s time for month favourites! I’ve got quite a few this month that I’m desperate to share with you so I’m going to stop waffling now and get right to it:

First up with skincare, The Body Shop British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask has been really nourishing and hydrating for my skin throughout the havoc it’s been through all throughout October. It’s quite affordable at £15, yet it looks like an extremely luxury product. You get lots of it, it smells divine and instantly plumps the skin and gives it that healthy boost. I wrote a full review on it earlier this month which I’ll link here. The only annoying part is that it’s not travel friendly packaging and so I couldn’t travel with it for the latter half of October!

I love how beautiful a soft glow can look this time of year so I’ve been mixing in a squeeze of the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Moonstone with my foundation this month. It seems to blur any imperfections whilst adding the most beautiful autumn radiance, so I’ve included it in my favourites this month too.

I have to mention the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara, I’ve been using it every day I wear makeup without fail. I was really late to this bandwagon but I’m so glad I joined, it really is a lovely affordable mascara which adds a lot of volume and length to my lashes.

Lip wise, I have two for you – and you’ll have seen them in my posts throughout the month. The Tanya Burr Cosmetics Lipstick in Pink Cocoa has been a serious favourite for October – it’s such a gorgeous everyday pink nude so it’s perfect for all year round. As I mentioned in my review earlier this month, you do have to wear it with a lip liner to avoid it sliding, so I’ve been pairing it with a couple I have from Rimmel for the ultimate affordable 90s lip. I’ve also been a huge fan of the Dior Addict Lip Glow in Coral. It’s hydrating, plumping and adds a gorgeous natural tint to the warmth of your lips. It’s incredibly universal so this one will work for everyone – I just wish it wasn’t so pricey.

I’ve written about how much I love the Perfect Formula Pink Gel Coat on my blog before, but it’s been an absolute saviour for my nails this month. I’ve really noticed a difference coming back to this product and it never fails. My nails feel healthier, stronger, they grow better and look better. Seriously, I can’t recommend this product enough!

I’ve still been utterly loving my phone case from CaseApp – and I’ve been getting a lot of compliments on it too! It’s not too late to get your own with my 20% off code – just enter LITTLELOVES20 before you checkout.

What have been your October favourites?
