Gift Guide: Beauty

Beauty Gift Guide

If you know someone who is into makeup but you’re not sure what to get them this Christmas, I’ve got you covered. The world of beauty is so big now, it can be really overwhelming shopping for a beauty addict. I hope you find some inspiration from this post if you’re stuck for ideas!

Charlotte Tilbury products are definitely some of the most luxurious gifts you can give to a beauty addict – I don’t think I’ve tried one thing that I don’t like from the brand. Some of my favourites are definitely her Eyeshadow Quads and Eyes to Mesmerise Cream Eyeshadows. If your budget is a little higher, the Goddess Skin Clay Mask is perfect for skincare junkies too.

Speaking of lipsticks, I’ve recently fallen in love with the Rosie for Autograph lipstick range – especially the shades Silk Rose and Nude Mink. They’re really gorgeous, and they’re rose gold – a couple of these would make a lovely, luxurious gift.

If you’re not sure what to get makeup wise, but still want to gift a beauty related gift, a beauty book is a really great option. One of my favourites from this year has got to be Pretty Honest by Sali Hughes – but she’s released another called Pretty Iconic which is supposed to be lovely too. either one would make a lovely Christmas gift for a beauty addict.

The Becca X Jaclyn Hill Champagne Face Palette has sold out in lots of places but you can still find it online at Sephora. It’s a limited edition palette that caused makeup madness earlier this year – and for good reason! It’s utterly gorgeous, the packaging is sleek and stylish, the colours are beautifully pigmented and long wearing. This will be loved by anyone who loves a bit of blush and a good highlight.

For real glow getters, a more affordable find (but definitely just as good!) is the highly coveted Sleek Solstice Palette. This has got to be one of my favourite makeup pieces, and anyone who I know that’s tried it has loved it too. To bulk it up a little, pairing it with the Sleek Blush Trio in Lace would make a really special gift. Definitely a more cost effective option than Becca and these are more accessible too (if you’re in the UK), but these two from Sleek give a very similar kind of vibe to the Champagne Face Palette.

For skincare addicts, The Body Shop Rose Plumping Mask is the perfect gift – in fact, any of the Superfood Masks would make the perfect little addition to anyone’s skincare cupboard. I wrote a whole review dedicated to this one a couple of months ago which I’ll link here if you’re interested in reading it. Of course, you can’t go wrong with a gift from LUSH. My favourite set from this year is definitely the Snow Fairy Gift Box  – it’s a beautifully wrapped pink box with four gorgeous treats from the  Snow Fairy range inside.

Fragrance is always a tricky one because it’s a very personal gift idea but one of my favourites is Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Eau De Parfum. It’s very floral (as the name suggests) and the bottle looks elegant but still edgy on my dresser.

What’s on your wishlist this Christmas?
