Buying gifts for men is one of the hardest things to do – or at least, I seem to feel that way. This gift guide definitely took me the longest to put together, but I hope it helps any of you that are as stuck as I was before I wrote this post!
First up, I thought I’d mention a couple of great books that I’d highly recommend if you know someone into street food. The first is My Street Food Kitchen by Jennifer Joyce – it’s a book jam packed full with lots of easy recipes to recreate some amazing street food cuisine. A healthier option is The Clean Eating Kitchen Cookbook – it has lots of beautiful photographs to accompany the recipes and makes a perfect addition to a kitchen shelf. For tech lovers who love to read, a Kindle is such a classic gift to give. It’s more of an investment but it’s definitely worth it, especially if the person you’re buying for loves reading on the go.
Calendars are a great option for a Christmas gift because the new year is just around the corner. I loved the Marvel Comics Calendar because it just looks so fun and bright! There are lots of other options for calendars on the Calendar Club website so take a look at those too. Another quirky gift is this 3 in 1 Lens Set for anyone who loves photography on their phone. The set has three different lens to clip onto your camera for some really fun photos!
Moving onto clothing, a set of pyjamas makes a great ‘sensible’ gift. I found these French Connection Lounge Pants in Check which are actually reduced, so grab them whilst they’re still in stock! Scarves are a really versatile piece as well, and you can go from affordable to luxury with them. For a well made budget friendly option, I loved this ASOS Oversized Check Print Scarf – but if you really want to splash out, the Burberry Classic Cashmere Scarf is a beautiful one, that you can personalize with initials too.
A couple of stocking filler favourites are definitely the Not At All Urgent Sticky Note Pad. I’m really into lists and this is a great unisex stationery gift that’s fun yet practical too. Mini tins seem to be around a lot every Christmas and some of the more affordable ones make lovely stocking filler gifts. I liked the Dove Men Care Mini Tin which is perfect for trying out three mini products and having a tin to store things in afterwards. The Batman Mini Tin Playing Cards are also a great set for a superhero fan and make a lovely stocking gift.
I know a food gift is something that can never seem to go wrong when it comes to men – at least, it doesn’t with the men I’ve given gifts to! These Lindt Dark Chocolate Truffles are some of my favourites to gift because they’re such a classic, but Green & Blacks chocolate bars are perfect if you’re looking for a variety of different flavours. They even have a chilli one.
What are your favourite gifts for men?
