I have loved creating gift guides this year, and lots of you seem to love them too, so I thought I’d write up one last one for good measure! This one is tailored to last minute shopping ideas, with lots of websites offering next day delivery before Christmas so you can get your hands on pieces before it’s too late.
Stationery is great as a stocking filler or as filler gifts, especially something like the Rifle Paper Co. To Do List Pad. They have so many designs but I found the ostrich one to be the cutest – and it works perfectly for the busy girl who always has a million and one things to do.
Hanging Wall Jewellery is a new trend in interiors (at least, I think it is), and I’m really into it. I love how bohemian and relaxed it looks whilst adding something extra to the room. It would definitely make a unique gift for the person who has everything. Prints are also great as last minute gifts, and it gives you a chance to choose a lovely frame. I like any prints that I buy to have a personal meaning to me, so the London one pictured above would be my perfect gift. Choosing a map is something very personal, and Etsy have a great selection here.
A couple of beauty gifts – I keep going on and on about the new Becca collection because I’m totally obsessed. The Becca Cosmetics Apres Ski Eyeshadow Palette is perfect for the girl who loves neutrals and a lot of glow! I’m giving this palette away as a thank you for reaching 1K on my blog and you can enter to win here. Another gorgeous gift for someone more into a good pamper is the Herbivore Botanicals Coconut Bath Soak. This is h-e-a-v-e-n-l-y. A sprinkle of this in the bath is like bathing in vanilla coconutty goodness and this will definitely go down well with anyone who loves to relax in the tub. Speaking of bath time, anything from Lush is usually a winner – I’ve bought a couple of Snow Angels to get me through December!
There are a few coffee related gifts in this guide because I love me a good coffee every morning. A Copper French Press makes a really elegant and useful addition to the kitchen, and feels a little more luxe than flat colours. Something that’s a little harder to locate in the UK (but I felt like I had to include them because they’re just so beautiful) are the Acme Flat White Coffee Cups. If you’re in Canada, you can order these from Eight Ounce Coffee, which is where I purchased them from a couple of weeks ago. They arrived pretty quickly too.
Anthropologie is a one stop shop for gorgeous gifts, whether you have one close by or you order online. Their delivery service is great so you should be able get everything in time. I’ve included a lot from Anthro over my gift guides, but I recently picked up the Agate Coffee Scoop and the Swan Trinket Dish. Both are absolutely adorable and would make very special gifts or stocking fillers. If you’re looking for something really aesthetically pleasing, you can’t go wrong with these!
A magazine subscription is great if you’re really pushed for time – I recently subscribed to Elle using their website online and I can’t wait to start receiving the new issues. These are usually quite affordable as well, depending on which magazine you opt for. It also gives you the opportunity to tailor the gift towards the recipient’s interests, whether it’s beauty, lifestyle, gardening, baking…whatever they like most!
