A Valentines Day Gift Guide.

Valentines 5

I wasn’t originally planning to compile a gift guide post for Valentine’s Day but seeing as my Christmas guides went down so well, I thought I might as well create one for this lovely occasion too! I’m away from my other half on the actual day this year, but I’m hoping to make the Valentine weekend a special one instead. There’s going to be a lot of chocolate and flowers involved, I’m sure of that. Here are my favourite gift ideas for your loved ones this February…

I love gifting lots of little gifts along with a larger gift, and so I thought I’d include a couple of ideas that were add-ons as well. Pom pom key rings have been around for a while now, but I love how adorable they are, especially when gifted with a bag too. The Katie Loxton clutches would make a great Valentine’s gift – they look and feel exactly like the Whistles ones but they’re much more affordable! A lot of them have quirky phrases embossed on the front too, which makes for a really special touch. A mug is something that makes a great gift too, and I always love the selection that Anthropologie have to offer. I recently picked up the Piet Pastel Mug and it’s definitely the prettiest mug I own.

& Other Stories has been a more recent discovery (and love) of mine, but I’m obsessed with their beauty products. The packaging is minimalist and gorgeous, and the scents are divine. The Miami Muse Hand Cream is definitely a favourite!

Crabtree & Evelyn have been a brand that are excellent for gifting for as long as I can remember. Back when I used to go to school, my mum would always go into the store and pick out the most beautiful gifts for my teachers at the end of term, so I always associate the brand with having a whole array of options to choose from. I was lucky enough to be sent a few of their Valentine’s day gifts this year, so I thought I’d mention a couple of my favourites in this guide. The Crabtree & Evelyn Violet & Almond Biscuits with Rose Tea Set* is an incredibly luxurious gift for someone who loves afternoon tea. The scent is enough to make your mouth water – it’s so unique and delicious! The flavours are designed to compliment each other, and I must say – they really do.

Another gorgeous gift option is the Crabtree & Evelyn Memories Made Candle*, which comes in a huge 200g size so it’s perfect for anyone who loves lighting candles around the house. The scent is incredibly dreamy, much like a really beautiful flower market. However, if muskier scents are more up your street, theĀ Fairy Tale of New York Candle by Bella Freud would make a lovely unisex gift. It’s a very spicy scent with rich, woody undertones making it so unique and special. I’ve never smelt anything quiet like it.

Retro Letter Boards are huge at the moment and they’re great fun to use! Whether it’s to leave notes for others, make to-do lists, meal plan, or write up pretty quotes – they’re brilliant and they look absolutely gorgeous to look at too. I love to use mine for quotes and I hang it in my kitchen – it adds something special to what would otherwise be a blank wall.

Gucci Bloom by Gucci is my fragrance must-have at the moment, especially for any floral scent lover. It’s very light and refreshing, but the scent lingers for a long time. It’s also a beautiful addition to any dresser – I won’t talk about this one too much as I wrote a whole review that I’ll link here. For your man, Chanel Bleu de Chanel is one of my favourite scents to gift. It feels luxe and elegant, with the scent itself being fresh and masculine at the same time. I think it’s the perfect scent for this time of year, not to mention that it’s one of the most beautiful bottles I’ve ever seen. If gift sets are more your thing, the YSL Kouros Gift Set is a beautiful one to gift. It comes in a glossy black box, and has large sizes of the perfume and shower gel.

If you’ve seen my Instagram lately, you might have noticed that I’ve been wearing my new Adexe Sistine Petite Rose Gold Watch* quite a lot! I’ve never really been a watch wearer because the straps always used to annoy me, but this watch is designed so beautifully that the strap tucks away underneath the band. It’s lightweight but still very luxurious, it’s such a pretty metallic, and it comes in a gorgeously presented gift box. If you’re wanting to invest in something really special this Valentines, a watch is the perfect way to go, and I’m really impressed with the selection that Adexe have to offer.
