A Mother’s Day Gift Guide.

A Mother’s Day Gift Guide.

With Mother’s Day fast approaching in the UK, I wanted to get this little gift guide up as soon as possible in case anyone was looking for some gift inspiration! As always, I wanted to include something for all budgets, so this guide also includes lots of little ideas which you could collate with other gifts you might have bought already.

Starting with the little ones, one of my favourite finds was definitely these Quartz Ring Holders from Oliver Bonas – they are available in lots of pretty colours and sizes, and they’re perfect for mums who like to wear jewellery. They’d look incredibly pretty sitting on a dresser or on a bedside table! They’re also very affordable too, yet they look much more expensive than they actually are.

A more traditional gift idea is breakfast in bed with a brand new mug. Anthropologie have a gorgeous selection (as always), and it’s definitely the place to go if you’re looking for something unique and different. To add a little something extra, gifting a mug with a pretty Gold Tea Strainer and some loose leaf tea would make a lovely little ‘set’ which I’m sure would be appreciated by any mum who loves her caffeine fix in the morning!

Anthropologie also have some beautiful coasters, including this Monogram Coaster which is always a great way to add a touch of personal thought into a gift. The letters are embossed in gold which looks very fancy, and the coaster has a raised lip which means it can be used to hold pretty trinkets as well as being a place to put mugs on. Speaking of trinket dishes, I recently found this stunning Celestial Trinket Dish from House of Fraser and I’m in love – for anyone who loves astrology, this would make the perfect treat. I keep mine on my bedside with my favourite And Other Stories Hand Cream on top for when my hands are feeling dry.

A reading favourite that I’ve found recently is The Sun & Her Flowers by Rupi Kaur. It’s the author’s second poetry book following Milk and Honey, and it would make the perfect gift for mums who love to enjoy poetry. I find a lot of the poems ring true, no matter who is reading them, which is the mark of a really wonderful writer.

I love gifting homeware, but it’s something I only tend to do if I know the recipient really well. My mum absolutely fits this category, so homeware is something that would make a great gift for her. I love this Mustard Mongolian Faux Fur Cushion which would be a perfect statement pillow on an armchair and the colour happens to be totally on trend right now! This Brass Wall Clock is another beautiful gift that is very unusual but absolutely stunning on the wall.

Finally onto beauty gifts – I adore anything from Bobbi Brown when I’m looking for mum-friendly ideas. The brand itself is extremely universal, no matter age or skin type, and the packaging and selection are totally gorgeous. Bobbi Brown skicnare treats are some of the best, with my favourite being the Soothing Cleansing Milk. I use this in the morning and it’s such a lovely way to start the day! I’ve also been loving the It Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream* which is specially formulated for all skin types – it’s rich, luxurious and instantly brightens the skin which is perfect for busy mums who want an extra glowy boost!

A new fragrance launch which would be perfect for mums is Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Nectar*. I was lucky enough to attend the launch event with Debenhams, and, as a huge fan of the original Flowerbomb, I’m happy to say that this one is even better. It’s a very crisp scent, with sweet floral notes and wonderful lasting power.
