Fresh & Floral Perfume Picks.

Fresh & Floral Perfume Picks.

With Spring well and truly underway, I’ve found myself reaching for fresh, floral fragrances in the morning! I’ve got a small collection of fragrances that I’m wearing a lot more as the days get warmer and brighter, so in today’s post, I’m sharing them all. A few of these are newer launches, so you might have seen them featured over social media quite a lot these past couple of months!

First up is Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Nectar*. I’ve always been a huge fan of the original, I even remember writing a dedicated blog post about the original scent back when I first started blogging. However, I think this one tops it – there’s something extremely crisp about this scent – it’s sweeter but still incredibly floral at the same time. I will always have special memories attached to the fragrance as it’s launch was the first blogging event I ever attended, and I had such a great time!

When I’m not feeling super floral, I find that the Jo Malone Grapefruit Cologne makes for the perfect balance between fruity and fresh. There’s a slight zestiness to this scent which makes it very unique and beautiful – not to mention, the lasting power is long! I have quite a few of the Jo Malone colognes and all of them are wonderful for lingering all day long.

Another new launch is Amo Ferragamo by Salvatore Ferragamo* which has been all over Instagram with the campaign featuring the stunning Suki Waterhouse. I was lucky enough to try this fragrance as soon as it launched thanks to World Duty Free Beauty! The packaging is stunning, very luxe and weighty in a gorgeous iridescent glass bottle. If you love sweet, vanilla scents, you’d absolutely love this one – it’s such a beautiful springtime scent that I know I’ll be wearing a lot next month.

My most used fragrance of the year so far has to be Gucci Bloom, which has been sitting proudly on my bedside so I can apply it every morning! I actually wrote an entire blog post dedicated to this fragrance which I will link here. It’s gorgeously floral and fresh, with top notes of jasmine and tuberose. The scent reminds me of walking in a garden during spring, so it makes for the perfect fragrance for this season.
