I mentioned in my March Goals post that I wanted to switch up my skincare routine this month because my skin hasn’t been looking it’s best lately. I think a lot of it has to do with my diet which is another thing that I’ve been trying to work on, but I wanted to make my skincare routine a little more nourishing to inject some life back into my skin. Here are some of the products that I’ve been using to help get there:
For my morning cleanse, I’ve been reaching for the Bobbi Brown Soothing Cleansing Milk, which creates a dreamy milky lather that I love. The scent is incredibly soothing, and I find that the gentle formula helps with any puffiness that I might be dealing with early morning. The bottle is also worth mentioning, I adore the design and the pump for ease of use.
I’ve been trying out the Charlotte Tilbury Unisex Healthy Glow when I’m going makeup free for the day and it’s the perfect product for a skin boost in the morning when you want to look more polished but want to avoid wearing makeup. I love how bronzed and healthy it makes my skin appear, and it seems to have a wonderful blurring effect too which helps conceal imperfections.
In the evenings, I usually tend to go for something a lot richer to cleanse off my makeup or build up from the day. The It Cosmetics Bye Bye Makeup Cleansing Balm* has been my go-to recently as it’s excellent for breaking down even the most stubborn makeup without tugging or pulling the skin. I scoop a little of this out of the pot and massage it all over a dry face, working it into the skin. Then I take a wet flannel and wipe it all off, and voila – a makeup free, fresh face ready for the evening!
For a deeply hydrating moisturiser, I love my trusty It Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream*. I’ve mentioned this quite a few times on my social platforms so I won’t go into too much detail on here, but it’s honestly one of the best moisturisers I’ve ever used. It’s nourishing, uplifting, the effects are immediate – my skin drinks it up and feels plump and gorgeous. I use this morning and evening, and if I’m not wearing makeup throughout the day then I’ll pop a little more on in the afternoon too. It has quickly become such a skincare staple!
I’ve also been travelling quite a bit here and there over the past month, so I’ve been keeping my Verso Travel Series Kit* close by. I’m particularly smitten with the Verso Night Cream* which is super hydrating and sinks right into the skin. I let it work its magic overnight and I wake up with super soft, healthy skin in the morning! The dream.
Have you tried any of these gorgeous skincare products? If so, I’d love to know how you find them too!
