Charlotte Tilbury has been my dream brand to work with ever since I first started blogging. I adored everything about the brand when it first launched, the packaging, the Hollywood glamour, Charlotte herself… it was all so luxurious and incredibly gorgeous from the get-go and I’ve loved pretty much everything I’ve tried from the brand. Of course that meant I was over-the-moon excited when the Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look Palette in Smokey Eyed Beauty* was delivered to my doorstep three weeks ago, and I was able to try the latest launch in the Instant Look palettes range (of course, I had to stop and snap a few photos of the product first, before I ruined it all with brushes!).
It is such a stunning compact, small enough to slip into your makeup bag on a night out, but still large enough that there’s plenty of product in each pan. I love the shades in this variation too, there’s two neutral shadows and one sultry black shadow to amp everything up and take your look from day to night. There’s also two blush shades which are both from my favourite Charlotte Tilbury blush in Ecstasy, that you can swirl together for a gorgeous pop of colour to your cheeks. The palette also comes with Charlotte’s infamous bronzer and iconic Bar of Gold highlighter – these are truly stunning together and really complete the Smokey Eye look.
I’ve been wearing this palette almost every day since I received it because I love how everything is all in one place. I find that I stick to the neutral shadows during the day and tend to smudge a little of the black shadow as a smokey liner if I am going out in the evening. Lipstick wise, I’ve been pairing this look with my Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in Very Victoria, as it’s the perfect-for-all nude lipstick. I was very kindly sent the shade Opium Noir* which I can’t wait to try as well, but it’s definitely more of a vampy autumnal shade for later on in the year!
All in all, I’m thrilled with this palette and I’m super keen to have a look at the other palettes that Charlotte Tilbury has to offer. I’m already a huge fan of her eyeshadow quads and I have quite a collection of those already – but the Instant Eye Palette looks utterly gorgeous!
Have you tried any of the Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look Palettes?
