August Goals.

It’s birthday month! I turn twenty-three this month which is crazy considering my early twenties have been a total blur so far. I don’t have any plans as yet, but I’m sure there will be lots of cake involved as my husband’s birthday is a day before mine. There have been a lot of things to celebrate lately, as our one year anniversary was just last month – summers are definitely going to be full of memories together!

Anyway, here’s what I have planned for the month ahead:

1. Figure out a posting schedule.

My blog post schedule has been incredibly erratic over the past year and I mainly put it down to the fact that I haven’t really been in one place too long ever since I left university. I definitely want to settle into some kind of routine now that the rush of moving abroad has died down a bit, and focus on creating some gorgeous new content for both this blog and on my social platforms.

2. Give my nails some TLC.

I don’t know what the past few months has done to my nails but they have definitely seen better days. I’ve had to file the right down, and even though I never had them very long in the first place, having them so short now makes my fingers look even stubbier than usual! I’ve started taking some daily supplements so I’m really hoping to see an improvement over the next few months…

3. Sort out my skincare stash.

I recently decided to install a bathroom vanity cabinet in our en-suite, so that I’d have somewhere to store all of my favourite skincare bits…problem is, I’ve realised just how much skincare I’ve managed to accumulate and it’s farrrr to much. I definitely need to take a little time out this month to go through it all, and decide what stays and what goes.

4. Turn 23.

As I mentioned at the start of this post, my birthday is this month. It’s on the 9th, so there’s really not much time left of being 22! I know we’re going to be away from home that week because we’re off to Toronto in a few days, but I’m excited all the same.

What are your goals for August?
