Gift Guide: Home & Lifestyle.

I know I’m a little late to the gift guide party but I’m so excited to kick things off with my home & lifestyle guide for this year! I love perusing through all the festive gift sets available around this season, with all the lavish packaging and glittery touches. I’ve cherry picked a few of my favourites that I’m sharing in today’s gift guide, but there will be a few more dotted throughout the guides to come over the next week or so.

I’m in love with the Aesop Resurrection Hand Balm and it would make such a lovely gift for anyone as the scent is quite neutral. I like to keep mine on my nightstand to apply just before bed, and it nourishes my hands overnight. For something a little extra, Jo Malone create gorgeous Hand Care Sets that would make a really gorgeous present. The gift wrapping options from the brand are absolutely stunning and add that touch of something special. You can customise the scent choices as well – one of my favourites is Lime, Basil & Mandarin hand wash and hand cream as a great kitchen sink duo.

Oliver Bonas always have beautiful gift ideas this time of year and I’m particularly smitten with their wash bag range – I picked up this pink one last season but they have very similar ones available in store this season. It’s a great size for makeup or toiletries and feels very luxe with all the velvet! Mugs and coasters are classic gifts that you can really personalise depending on where you shop; good old Anthropologie have a wide selection of monogrammed varieties that would be so special to open on Christmas day.

Calendars and diaries for the new year are really great ideas for someone who loves stationery or is trying to get organised! I love the Rifle Paper Co Calendars for beautifully high quality, bright illustrations – and they have so many different types to choose from! I went for the Lemon Calendar for 2019 as it’s the perfect size for my desk.

West Elm offer some beautiful brass decorations which would work well for someone who might be trickier to buy for. I recently bought this Cheers word ornament which would make a great Christmas gift for a bar cart, and this hexagonal decoration makes a real statement on open shelving.¬†Another decor gift idea would be candles – they make for universally loved gifts and no brand does them better than Diptyque! I love the Diptyque Candle Trio as a way to try out three different scents, and they come packaged in a gorgeously deluxe box that looks great as decor even on it’s own.
