Gift Guide: For Him.

Gift Guide: For Him.

Probably the trickiest people to buy for… the guys. I did have a lot of fun putting this gift guide together though because of the challenge, and I was pleasantly surprised at the different options out there for all different budgets. Here are some of my favourites for gifting to men this season:

Starting off with smaller stocking fillers, Matalan have a lovely selection of retro boxed men’s gifts such as this brass letter opener and this hammer multi-tool. They look much more expensive than they actually are because of the way they’re packaged, but they make for great filler gifts, or if you’re looking for something for Secret Santa. I also loved these three coffee toppers for any coffee lovers out there – I know I’ll be keeping this set for myself! It comes with chocolate, cinnamon and vanilla, all classic flavours that appeal to the many. The packaging is adorable too – all recyclable with festive red bows tied at the top of each jar.

I was kindly sent a couple of mens gifts this year that I was thrilled to include – one being this cute L’occitane Shea Butter Bauble* available at World Duty Free. It comes with three miniature cult products all packaged in a star shaped reusable tin. I also love this Shave Trial Set* from GROOM – this is a new brand that I had never heard of before but I absolutely love the scent of the mini shaving products that come in this kit. It has a very premium feel to it, so this gift would be a lovely one for someone special.

Diffusers are more of a niche gift for men but I think they can be really nice gifts for people who don’t necessarily love candles/live in a place where open flame is not allowed. This Wood Sage & Cedar diffuser comes in a beautiful black apothecary-style bottle with long reeds and the scent is earthy and masculine – yet it was an absolute steal from Primark! Just goes to show that you don’t need to spend a fortune to find some real gems out there. For body fragrance, my favourite is Chanel Bleu. It’s such a unique, bold and beautiful fragrance and the packaging is divine. Obviously, it’s a little pricier but I see fragrance as more of an investment gift for a close relative or friend.

The tech lovers out there might really love something like this tablet keyboard. My dad absolutely loves his and has it attached to his work tablet for on the go. There are some really gorgeous ones out there and I instantly loved the gold one (of course). Pens are also super handy for a man who travels. There’s something so classy about carrying a nice pen and I love this one from Cross. It comes in a sleek box so it’s very easy to wrap and would be a treat for anyone who writes a lot!
