A Spring Wardrobe Wishlist.

A Spring Wardrobe Wishlist.

I’ve been waiting for Spring for what feels like a long time because winter has been rough (to say the least) here in Ottawa! As someone who dreads the thought of minus temperatures having grown up in London, moving to Canada was definitely a huge shock to the system when it came to seasonal dressing. In spirit of looking forward to the warmer seasons, I’ve been doing a lot of online browsing – so I’ve put together a little Spring wishlist of the bits that I have my eye on…

Lace and light jumpers are such a feminine combination that I’m really enjoying. Cornflower blue has really grown on me since I switched up my hair at the end of last year, and this cashmere blouson-sleeved number makes for the perfect transitional piece.

Pinterest seems to be all about the hair accessories, and it’s giving me Blair Waldorf vibes which I love. I recently invested in a few that I have been eyeing up for a while – first these stunning (I wish I could think of a better word because these literally took my breath away when I unwrapped them) celestial hair pins from good ol’ Anthropologie. A more budget purchase, inspired by the lovely Alix from ICovetThee, were some statement pearl hairclips that I picked up from Amazon  – they’re a serious throwback to primary school days but they work with short hair and are so easy to style so I’m all for that!

Bold necklaces, specifically personalised ones, seem to be circling around quite a lot on my Instagram feed lately and I’m really enjoying seeing the way people style them. There are lots of dupes out there for the *ahem* v. expensive designer version, like the one  that I’ve included – and the quality is absolutely lovely.

Here are some more pieces that I’ve been adding to my wishlist:
