March Goals.

March Goals.

So February – like the whole of 2018 – seemed to fly by for me… and I’m not complaining. The snow is finally melting (although quite a lot of it is turning into ice making the whole of our driveway a super slippery ice rink), but Spring is on it’s way and I can’t wait for it to come! Here are some of the things I’m working on to prep for the new season:

1. Eat more veggies.

I used to be really good at this (surprisingly, it was while I was at university). I don’t think I’ve quite got the hang of grocery shopping in Canada because everything I usually get isn’t just in one supermarket. I want to try and get back into the habit of eating lots of veggies and creating more vegetarian meals – I’ve been loving Joe Wicks’s recipes this year so I think I’m going to have a look through some of his recipe books for some more meal inspiration throughout March!

2. Continue with HIIT training.

Last month, one of my goals was to pick up HIIT training and I dabbled with it a little throughout February. Although it’s definitely not the easiest way to workout, it’s definitely much quicker, and so I can squeeze it into my day without dreading it too much. As someone who really does not enjoy working out, I think HIIT allows me to feel healthier and stronger without keeping me in the gym for a long time! I’d like to use this month to try and incorporate more of this style training into my routine and make it something I do more regularly to stay healthy.

3. Create an inspiration board for my office.

I’ve collected quite a few postcards, notecards and mini prints over the past few months and I really want to collate them all into some kind of inspiring pin-board to keep above my desk. I recently restyled my entire office (more on that coming soon), and I have a gold wire wall grid that needs a little bit of sprucin’. I’m planning to hang that up and finally get around to arranging the bits I’ve collected on there so I have something colourful and fun to look at while I work!

What are your goals for March?
