Charlotte Tilbury: Hot Lips 2.

Charlotte Tilbury: Hot Lips 2.

Charlotte Tilbury has released quite a few new beautiful collections since the beginning of this year, including some of my absolute favourite makeup I’ve ever used. However, her latest launch is probably one of the most special ones to date – inspired by eleven incredible icons and a pledge to donate £1 million of the proceeds to Women for Women International, a charity that helps women survivors of war rebuild their lives.

Not only do these lipsticks come in an array of absolutely stunning and wearable colours, each shade is encased in one of five collectible, refillable cases. So, not only has Charlotte designed the dreamiest packaging (once again), she has also offered an eco-friendly solution to our love of lipsticks. This one is definitely a collection to talk about and so I was absolutely ecstatic to try a couple of the shades that she’s launched… and I think this will probably be one of the most glowing reviews I’ve given in a while.

The collection comes with a whole new spectrum of unique shades, with two of Charlotte’s iconic lipstick formulas – the original K.I.S.S.I.N.G satin shine finish and the gorgeous Matte Revolution formula. I have one of each formula and the texture and application is just as smooth and stunning as the shades from previous collections:

Glowing Jena universal, tawny, beachy rose lipstick in homage to Jennifer Aniston

Probably the shade that I’ll be wearing most! Such a wearable, beautiful nude in the K.I.S.S.I.N.G formula, which means it has a lovely soft sheen on the lips. It’s incredibly moisturising and hydrating, so this one is a great formula to wear if you often get dry lips.

Amazing Amalan elegant, soft, warm, berry-pink lipstick in homage to Amal Clooney

This shade will definitely be my occasion shade of the year – it’s such a flattering bitten berry shade that can be softened a little by dabbing your ring finger around the edges. I love how this looks paired with simple winged eyeliner. I’ve also tried to use this blended into my cheeks as a berry pink blush to tie the whole look together and it’s oh-so-pretty!

I’m thrilled with the formulation and elegance of this collection and I know I’ll be adding more to my Hot Lips 2 collection very soon (I have my eye on J.K. Magic and In Love With Olivia as a pre-birthday treat to myself!)

Have you tried any of the new CT lipsticks? Which shades are your favourites?
