
It probably goes for the majority of the world, but this year hasn’t been an easy one for me. Despite the past ten months, I’m trying to do my best in finishing the year on a more positive note, with a few goals to keep myself busy in a good way. I haven’t shared a goals post in a long while, but here are a few things that I’m working towards before 2021…
Keep on posting daily content
I’ve been making an active effort to post onto social at least once a day since the start of this month. It took a bit of thorough practice and planning at first, but once I got back into it, I find it’s getting easier to come up with new ideas each day. I’m also having a lot of fun with the Reels feature on Instagram, and I want to spend the next few weeks getting more creative with those. If you’d like to follow along, here is the link.
Invest in a few capsule pieces
It’s one of those goals that I think stays constant for me… I’ve been wanting a more capsule wardrobe for a very long time and finding the right pieces has never been an easy job. I’ve been looking for the right investments, especially for the winter months, and I have a pretty good idea of what I’m looking for now. Pieces like a tailored winter coat, comfortable flats and a quality mid-size tote are staples that are so classic, they will never go out of style. I’ve gone through so many over the years, but I think I’m at a point where I’d like to invest in the best and be truly happy with my purchase.
Work on festive content
This is the best time of year for me, content-wise. I feel so inspired by all the lights and decorations, and I just want to create! Does anyone else feel like this? I’ve been planning my gift guides this week and I’m very excited to share them with you all. They’re some of my favourite kinds of posts to share and read so this one is probably one of my favourite goals for this month.
Take time out to invest in myself
I think a lot of us are guilty of neglecting ourselves from time to time, and I know I’ve done a lot of that throughout this year. I want to start finding positive ways to take time and spend time… if that makes sense?! Whether it’s cooking something new, starting a new TV show (or re-watching an old favourite), or convincing myself that it’s not too cold for a walk, I really want to make more of an effort to invest more time towards my mental health. We all need to do this one, especially with the year we’ve had!
